Situación

With a population of 3.5 million, Montreal is one of the world's largest bilingual cities and a great place to learn languages. Since its residents are often trying to improve their own 'second-language' skills, international students sometimes find themselves studying next to local Canadians, to the benefit of all learners. Montreal is one of the safest cities of the world and offers a unique combination of old world charm and new world dynamism. It is a cosmopolitan city which is made-up of many different neighbourhoods all offering a variety of cultural events and unique stores.

Schools location and facilities

The school is situated in the heart of Montreal. We are within a five-minute walk to the train station, shopping centres, movie theatres and the Old Port. The school is in a modern buildingand ther is a café and an outdoor terrace at ground level, these are popular areas for our students to have lunch and relax in the summertime.
Students have full access to the free Internet lab with high-speed connectivity or they can utilise our wireless environment if they have their own laptop. The students also have access to the language lab for any extra language study or they can relax and meet others in our comfortable student lounge. The students are able to use any of these facilities during the schools opening hours, which are 8.30 - 5.00, Monday to Friday.

Social activities

The school coordinators arrange a wide variety of social and cultural outings, including sporting events, day trips and weekend excursions to make the student's experience in Canada more rewarding. Practicing a language while engaging in activities is a great complement to the lessons learned in the classroom. Participating in activities also allows learners to explore and expand their horizons while making bonds with friends from around the world. Activities vary and change depending on the monthly and seasonal basis, allowing students to make the most of Canada's four distinct seasons.
